The Words We Leave Behind is a duet RPG about time travel and the butterfly effect. As you traverse the time stream you will work to rewrite history for your Faction while your opposite number does the same. Watch your changes cascade down the timestream, slowly accumulating to build a new and unexpected history.
To play The Words We Leave Behind you will need:
- 2 players
- A deck of cards each
- An online document that you can both edit
- A way to message one another
Alongside a series of optional rules is a dedicated solo game – The Worlds I Wrote For You. Work to restore your own timeline by manipulating four parallel realities in the hope of rebuilding just one perfect memory.
