Day 21 of #morktober & #morkorgtober brings us THE Day 21 of #morktober & #morkorgtober brings us THE PLANT THAT DWELLS. A seemingly innocent houseplant that just happens to go on secretive night-time murder-sprees. This is a silly add on for the upcoming Office-Borg MÖRK ORG which you can follow in the link in our Bio . It'll definitely work for MORK BORG, Paweł Kicman's CORP BORG and CY_BORG too...
The wraiths always work in the weirdest department The wraiths always work in the weirdest departments; here's OCCUPATIONAL HAZARD, where you get to be poked by needles and attempt to run away from the screams emanating from the Occupational Health department. This is Day 20 of #morktober and #morkorgtober. There's only 11 days left; I'm very ready not to be doing daily illustrations, rules and layouts, but I've certainly enjoyed it too.
I'm rather happy with the FIRE INEXTINGUISHER! It' I'm rather happy with the FIRE INEXTINGUISHER! It's exactly the sort of thing you hope NOT to pick up when tackling a fire, since it's filled with NAPALM and DISASTER. Roll d10 when using it to see if it explodes, becomes a dead weight, or causes an exciting amount of ongoing damage. This is day 19 of #morktober and #morkorgtober, the prompt for which was "burn".
I can't believe how long I spent on this. Do a 5 r I can't believe how long I spent on this. Do a 5 room Dungeon for the "Abyss" prompt, that's easy, right? I estimate this took me 6 hours. What a waste of time. Still, looks pretty fun... I present to you THERE'S A HOLE IN THE FLOOR! There's treasure (sort of), a weird crystal ball for spying on colleagues, there's a corpse (yay!), there's a place to get stuck deep, deep underground, and there's a HYDROTROLL, a riff on the MÖRK BORG core book Troll, but one with a real affinity for stalagmites... Let me take you through it. You enter through a random hole in a cubicle floor... Then there's an entrance room with a body and a bunch of weirdly telegraphed passageways. No idea which one people will choose. Hopefully not the rope... Room one has an altar and a cool crystal ball that is entirely portable for useful fun. This is probably the only good thing in the dungeon. (Plus the crystal ball looks kinda pretty even if its too small). The next room has some flimsy-but-desperate interns you can ruin with a few hits. (They are still harder than anything NINJABORG can throw at you) Travelling on gives you a small but nasty opportunity to get stuck. Permanently. I don't have a plan for how GM's rescue people here. Don't get stuck is my advice. The finale, at the end of several tunnels, should be a treasure cave, but instead is mostly junk/scary stuff/or a pink slip. Ah well. You did your best, and that'll be noted at your next performance review. Unless you got fired. Of course, if you slid down the rope, you encounter the HYDROTROLL, which is absolute nails and very likely to absolutely mess you up. (I totally failed to do any promotion for it today because I spent the whole day drawing instead. Foolish.)
Day 17 of #morktober and #morkorgtober had the pro Day 17 of #morktober and #morkorgtober had the prompt of "Disguise". There is no finer modern invisibility cloak than a hi-vis jacket, so... THE HI-VIS OF THAUMATURGIC DISSIMILITUDE gives hauntingly powerful vibes to a simple piece of fluourescent outerwear. Try it on, and see if you disappear, or if you remain forever changed.
Day 16 of #morktober and #morkorgtober had the pro Day 16 of #morktober and #morkorgtober had the prompt of "Knife", so my mate Dave sent me a photo of his sink full of knives... CLEANING UP is the discovery that your workplace kitchen has been left full of gore-soaked metal murder-sticks. Do you take a knife? And what happens?!
THE CARDBOARD CUIRASS! A.K.A. "How to make a suit THE CARDBOARD CUIRASS! A.K.A. "How to make a suit of armour from empty boxes you have laying around the office". Bonus points if you make Players do it in real life. Cuirass was a slightly hard prompt word for Day 15 of #morktober and #morkorgtober, but I liked the idea of really rubbish armour. If you get it wet, it instantly disentegrates too!
Presenting BONES4U! Sometimes you need to be able Presenting BONES4U! Sometimes you need to be able to staff your office with moderately humanoid piles of bones, right?! BONES4U will fulfill all your cadaver related needs, with same day delivery! This is Day 14 of #morktober and #morkorgtober (Two posts a day until I catch up). I really enjoyed drawing the skeleton here, and the hand drawn bone font turned out none-too-shabby either! (Built for MORK ORG, check the Kickstarter Link in our Bio!)
A belated day 13 for morktober #morkorgtober is th A belated day 13 for morktober #morkorgtober is the FORTIFIED FILING CABINET! There are d6 weird things inside—I'm particularly proud of the potentially self-murdering Glass Sword. Very powerful, very likely to kill the user.

I got the chance to co-write a solo game this year I got the chance to co-write a solo game this year with @bloatgames; Bloody and Alone in Appalachia has less than 24 hours to run on Kickstarter. It's got some lovely (horrible) art, and it uses a hacked version of Chris Bissette's Wretched & Alone system (hacked to add extra gore and debilitating injuries that build up over the course of the game). This game is particularly inspired by The Blair Witch Project, Cabin in the Woods and those moments when I was 14 and had to stop playing Half Life because the Headcrabs freaked me out too much.
