Here at Beyond Cataclysm we’re all about partnering with other creatives to make beautiful things. As part of that, we provide a one-stop shop for Kickstarter and Crowdfunders. This includes:

• arranging and creating Kickstarter campaigns
• collecting surveys & postage costs
• printing and distributing to your backers worldwide

We also offer a partial service; just need printing, or shipping, or just cover for part of the world? We can do it all! Why not drop us a message to discuss it?

What makes us different?

We are a bunch of creatives who love to make things with our hands. We operate professionally, but – make no mistake – we do this because we love it. There might be distribution companies who operate a more slick routine than us – but will you find anyone else who will write a personal thank you note to every single backer, and decorate every single parcel? We don’t think so!

What do we charge?

Our fee structure for fulfilment is simple:

Obviously every campaign is different, but here’s an demonstration.

Example Campaign:

A 48 page RPG zine campaign.

• Full colour, printed on recycled 120gsm paper with matte 300gsm cover. Staple bound.
• 100 backers from around the world, 20% UK, 30% Europe, 50% Rest of World.
• Beyond Cataclysm handling everything, including printing.

What about missing/damaged parcels?

We understand this is a concern, and everyone has a preferred approach. We offer three options for

1. We cover all missing parcels up to 15%, and add 10% charge to above prices excluding print costs (so, 55p on a UK tier 1 above) to cover additional costs. We receive 15% extra stock which we store for free for 6 months, and which we can resell if unsent at that point (hence not 15% charge). More expensive for your backers, minimal risk to you.
2. We repost missing parcels, and invoice you at the end of 6 months for the additional cost, materials and labour. (Our prices for labour would remain fixed, but Royal Mail fees might increase). We receive 15% extra stock which we store for free for 6 months, and which we can resell if unsent at that point. Lower total cost – our 10% above is padded to protect our risk, but you have extra expense at end to cover.
3. You handle and repost all missing or damage parcels yourself. Cheapest option for backers, no need to give us surplus stock.

Option 1 & 2 involve us holding stock long term; we don’t want to become a company that solely provides warehousing, hence the unclaimed/unused resell aspect.
