Description
What Should We Have Tomorrow? can be played in a single session, or spaced out over an actual week. To play, you will need:
- These instructions.
- Some paper, notecards, a notebook or a journal. Something to record your meals each day. These instructions will assume you are using pages in a journal.
- A writing utensil.
- A standard 52-card deck of playing cards. Separate out the Jack, Queen and King cards from the deck. This is your deck of Face Cards. The remaining cards (Ace – 10) form your deck of Ingredient Cards.
- Some space to keep your cards and notes organized.
Each day, you will draw Face Cards to determine the Mood and Weather for the day, then carry out one Preparation (Shopping, Research or Talking), prepare the day’s Meal by combining Ingredient Cards, share that meal with your loved ones and mark smiley faces based on the Mood and Weather, and finally clean up the Ingredient Cards used and prepare for the next day.
During each step, you take time to reflect on your meal preparation and how your meals intertwine with your daily lives and record your recipes and reflections into your journal.
The game also includes optional instructions for sharing your ingredients and recipes online.
