The crew of the Demetri is made of teamsters and volunteers. They’re loaded with a belly full of cargo, bound for Angel’s Rock, a prison-colony planet in orbit around a blackhole sun. Promised a big bonus if they can get there faster than expected. The kind of bonus that can really make a difference. The only thing that stands in their way is the monotony of daily maintenance and the hazards of deep space. That, and the undead devil stored below. He is ancient. He is bloodthirsty. And he is very, very evil.
