Description
They wander with no destination in mind, carrying their flourishing garden wherever the road may lead. Meadows bloom beneath their passing, branches flower at their touch, and the scent of fresh blossoms lingers long after they have gone. Dressed in heavy robes and adorned with flowers gathered from countless lands, they arrive unannounced at whatever place you call home, refuge, or resting place. They are the Piteous Priests.

CREATED FOR THE APPX. N JAM 2026

A concertina zine (or accordion-fold zine) is made from a single strip of paper folded back and forth into connected panels. Named after the concertina instrument, it can be read page by page like a booklet or unfolded into one continuous strip.
Unlike a traditional pamphlet, where a single sheet is folded in on itself to create nested pages, a concertina is folded back and forth in alternating directions to form a continuous chain of panels. This 8-panel A6 portrait format (four panels per side) offers more pages and greater layout flexibility while still using just one sheet of paper.
